When he came to do the tiling he said he could also do the bathroom fitting. I was unsure, but he said "if you're not happy, don't pay me." That was September 2015 and everything is fine, no leaks. He made an invisible hump that prevented runoff into another area. It works great and I don't even have a shower door! (My shower is a bit larger 1.2m2, compared to the standard 0.9m2 size, otherwise I would need a door.) My other aunt saw the job he did for me and used him to redo her shower, which he finished off last month. I will be installing 15m2 tiles in between the bottom and top cupboards in the kitchen and am willing to use him. I would recommend him to my friends and family when they're in need. His bakkie is a bit old, he would do well with a new one. I would give him 7/10 for punctuality, but he does always come if he says he will. And I appreciated his capability. I wouldn't need to tell him what to do or how to do it and he would find the best possible way make it looks good. He took care to cut and place tiles so that it looks good.

Feedback  The work was OK. He was quite professional and took control of the job. He came across as very experienced and very reassuring. While he was fixing the blocked pipe, however, he broke the sink, which was a bit loose, I will concede. I'm going to use him again for the sink. I had to double check if he was coming, but he did pitch up on time. Pity about the sink - not sure if it was his fault. But I've used many plumbers before and he was good.

Feedback  I initially chose a contractor who came highly recommended. She was an absolute nightmare, she cut corners everywhere. The roof was leaking. All of the grouting was coming off. It was just a mess. Calistus was an angel, sent to me. He fixed everything. He is hands on, his plumbing is fantastic. He arrived when he said he would, but he notified me in the rare cases when he was running late. For my large job, he only took 1 day longer than he estimated. He was really considerate, he even cleaned away rubbish of other contractors who were working there too. He is really, really, really great, and I've recommended him to 2 other people.

My daughter had Calistus do some plumbing, and being happy with his work, she recommended him to me. His work for me was perfect. He knows exactly what he is doing. He suggested we lower the floor of one of the rooms he tiled in, so it matched the level of the neighbouring room, and I let him go ahead with it. It turned out to be a great idea! He cleaned up the entire place afterwards. I had lots of tools lying around, none of which went missing. I chose really big tiles, and his team didn't even break or damage one tile. For this kind of service, his price was well worth it.
